For years, Eito has been revered as one of the most progressive vert skaters of all time, but he has now entered a league of his own. Eito started quad skating before the age of three and changed to inline when he was nine. Eito creates unbeatable runs, bringing not only explosive height and brilliant style, but also the most progressive and intimidating line ever seen. His signature tricks include the 1080 California Roll, a double back flip and a twister. Eito’s strength is his consistency.
２歳半の頃からローラースケートを履きはじめ、1995年（当時12歳）から世界大会への参戦をはじめる。1997年にはワールドプロツアーで初優勝（当時13歳）。アクションスポーツ最大の競技大会「X Games」では過去最多となる３度（1999年・2000年・2003年）の優勝を果たしている。ワールドプロツアーでは通算４５回の優勝、３度の年間総合優勝を達成している。弟の武士（たけし）と共に「安床ブラザーズ」として米国・欧州で人気を博す。現役の世界チャンピオン。
現在も神戸を拠点とし、試合やショー（パフォーマンス）で世界各国を飛びまわり年間の半分程は海外遠征が続いている。その高度なスケート技術は様々な分野で求められるようになり、「シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユ」の演目制作にも携わった。他にはハリウッド映画の作品でスケートとワイヤーアクションを組み合わせたスタントも行っている。このような活動を通じてスポーツの新しい可能性に挑戦し、インラインスケートが活躍する場を生み出し続けている。
