Segas Jet set radio it’s on the way back, and they have a colab with Them Skates! Making it the biggest collaboration in rollerblading ever. Sega are sponsoring the Blading Cup. There is a new rollerblading street skating edit competition, rollerblading world first 1260 spin by a women, Julien Cudot keeps winning comps, Cameron Talbott drops another video and more rollerblading newsI’ve started an edit competition with Bedroom Skate Shop https://bedroomskate.com/ The Community Cup Invitational featuring the best rollerbladers around, all nominated by you. It will feature joe Atkinson, Julien Cudot, Nils Jansons, Sean Kelso, Seba Seufferheld, Bobi Spassov, Cameron Talbott and Levi Van Rijn. The rollerbladers invited were the finalists from finalists from the Skater of the Year, Section of the Year and best trick categories at the Rollerblading Awards. The best of the best.They’ll put together a new exclusive street skating part that’s a minimum of one minute and a maximum of two minutes long, with a 6th July deadline for edit submissions. Once it kicks off, one of their parts will drop daily until all of the skaters parts are out, and there is a ruck of ridiculous edits flying about. From there, the community will vote for their top three and there will also be an expert judges winner Im trying to raise at least 5K as a prize fund. Each skater is guaranteed an equal share of 50% of what’s raised as a base rate! Getting skaters paid! Plus the potential to win prize money. It had striking cel-shaded art, thumping J-pop/hip-hop soundtrack crafted by Hideki Naganuma, and anti-establishment attitude. It turned rollerblading graffiti rebels into icons of cool. It introduced mainstream audiences to street art, what Tokyos youth culture were into and alternative music. The game was a classic.
