wheelscenebladingSolo Session at Scotland’s Newest Skatepark – Rennie Road Skatepark, Kilysth
from wheelsceneblading on 9 Mar 2022

A new 65k skatepark has just been built in Kilysth, Scotland, and it’s relatively nearby, so I drove along to see what it’s like. It’s randomly situated on the top of a hill amongst some houses on what appears to be wasteland, with a great video out over Lanarkshire, although it was quite windy on the day which made it harder to skate.I learned two things from this session. Skating on your own is not motivating in the slightest and filming yourself is a total pain in the arse. It didn’t help that I forgot to bring a tripod. The design of the park is interesting and unlike many others nearby, but the ramps are a steeper than is ideal, which makes it hard to generate speed for some of the obstacles. It’s worth a visit if you’re curious, but probably not something you would return to often. The other park clips referenced in the video are from this video: Elliot Provan – Delicate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIG4jbmqbLkMusic by Myline // – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDbidb6N4wqwPSPetzLRuUg/videosVisit our our online shop – https://wheelscene.bigcartel.comFollow us on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/wheelscenebl…Instagram: wheelscene
