Chynna Weierstall – 15/16/17
from http://www.wheelscene.co.uk on 21 Apr 2018

We always love it when a new Chynna Weierstall drops and this is no exceptional. The Michigan native has got such a big trick vocabulary and her executions are flawless. Chynna is easily the best female street skater in the world and her blading is a joy to watch. You may notice that the curve rail in this section is the one Don Bambrick does in Gentry and Chynna one-ups Bambrick. I repeat, CHYNNA ONE-UPS BAMBRICK. Take a moment and let that sink in. The video was filmed and edited by Al Dolega. Watch more videos of Chynna Weierstall HERE.

Mike Torres: Perfecting His Craft
from http://www.wheelscene.co.uk on 14 Apr 2018

Mike Torres gives us an insight into Nights & Weekends ahead of its release this weekend and we delve into the lasting impression of his first Winterclash experience, geek out on frame logistics, and talk tactics when it comes to making blading videos. Mike Torres has been responsible for countless quality online videos over the past decade, including notable sections for USD riders Justin Brasco and Tim Adams, but very few people will be aware of his extensive back catalogue of releases unless they have taken the time to read the description panel under each video on YouTube. However, in recent years, he has earned himself some serious kudos as a top tier blading videographer thanks to the release of Church of Leon, and it’s follow-up Wizard of Wall Street, with Canadian Wizard frames mastermind Leon Basin. Last year he released One For The Road, a New York City based scene video that unwittingly became a contender for full-length blading video of the year in many people’s hearts and minds. If you have somehow managed to miss it so far, you can watch the full video online for free. Well, it’s only 12 months on and Torres is gracing us with […]

Park Life – Lewis Bowden (http://www.wheelscene.co.uk)

Park Life – Lewis Bowden
from http://www.wheelscene.co.uk on 6 Apr 2018

We enlisted the services of Edinburgh-based blader and longtime friend of Wheel Scene Lewis Bowden for the latest edition of Park Life. The action takes place at Transgression Park in Edinburgh, Zone 74 Skatepark in East Kilbride and Shred Skatepark in Ayr, and we think you will agree that he charges around each venue like a man possessed. The track is Blood Will Be Shed by the now defunct Glasgow-based hardcore band Broken Oath. The video was filmed and edited by David McNamara. Read our interview with Lewis Bowden HERE. from http://www.wheelscene.co.uk on 2 Apr 2018

The trailer for the Cayenne Project‘s new video Formosa is finally here and it looks like their epic momentum is only going to keep growing with this release. The video was shot exclusively in Taiwan and, once again, the epic crew assembled to take on some of the most interesting spots Asia had to offer. When you combine the talents of Richie Eisler, Scott Quinn, Chris Farmer, Josh Glowicki, Joe Atkinson, David Sizemore, Dominik Wagner, Chris Smith and Carson Starnes, you know it’s gonna be a winner. And when the men behind the lenses are Boysen and Büttner, you know it’s going to look great. Watch more Cayenne Project videos HERE. FORMOSA | TRAILER from Cayenne Project on Vimeo.

The Church Of Leon
from http://www.wheelscene.co.uk on 30 Mar 2018

If you never picked this up at the time it was first released, have a look at Leon Basin cruising the streets of New York City in The Church of Leon. The Canadian really knows how to make the best of his Wizard frame set-up, with graceful movements and creative obstacles usage at every turn – literally! The video was filmed and edited by Mike Torres. Be on the lookout for Mike Torres’ new video, Nights and Weekends, which will be dropping very soon. In the meantime, check out his last video – One For The Road. The Church of Leon from Mike Torres on Vimeo.
