GH4 // V-Log // Low light test 5000 iso
from Ned Espeut-Nickless on 14 Oct 2015
Testing out V-Log at 5000 iso. Can’t believe how good it is in low light, on other GH4 profiles I would never go above iso 800 otherwise the image would almost be unusable.

All shot handheld and rather shaky, just for grading test. Shot with the Lumix GH4, V-Log (Sharpness -5, NR 0) 4K UHD 3840×2160 30p slowed down to 80% in a 24p timeline, Shot internal at 8-bit, ISO 400 with Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lens. Graded in FCPX, using LUT utility and Color Finale, using Varicam 35 V-Log to V709 LUT, Impulz REDlogFilm Fuji pro 400 FC LUT, Unsharp masked added in After Effects and then Filmconvert 35mm grain added at 36% in FCPX.
