Fritz Peitzner – Then And Now Blading Podcast EP17 Part 1
from Jan Welch on 21 Mar 2022

For Episode 17 of the Then And Now Blading Podcast, I speak to Fritz Peitzner. The interview is broken into two separate videos. In part 1, we discuss Fritz’s skating history, growing up skating at Eisenberg’s Skatepark, the Dallas scene, skating in competitions, and his travels around Europe and South America with his friend Josh Glowicki. For part 2, we talked about his love of big wheel blading, his skate shop Carriers, and he finishes part 2 by discussing the severe head injury he received from his fall during the Pow Wow competition at the beginning of Covid. Fritz details what happened, his recovery, wearing helmets, and the effects of the injury on him.Thumbnail photo by Gino Gotelli. This interview is also available as a podcast on all major streaming services.
