This weeks #TBT post is all about the 2001 Nature Skate Video tour for our third VHS release The Traveler. This was one of the greatest experiences ever. Going on a long extended road trip with all the homies and getting to skate/film with so many epic skaters and spots is a blading dream come true.So check out the intro to The Traveler which was released in 2002. Thanks to everyone who helped make this video a reality. This one is from the Chris Edwards 1999 Diversity Tour that I, Hakeem Jimoh, had the privilege of being a part of. This one brings back fond memories of traveling across the country, doing demos, and putting on events/contests for the young upcoming bladers of that time. This was one of the few grassroots tours that went around and promoted skating throughout the USA. Thanks to all the skaters that I toured with and everyone we met along the way. Special thanks to Chris Edwards for understanding the importance of introducing blading to the masses and dedicating so much time and effort with these tours. Your contributions to the game will always be monumental.
