Story time with Steve Iacono babehTo put it short I never thought I would make another section after dyno2 . Not that anyone cares really but few people know I hurt my knee literally the first day of filming for that on a parking barrier. My knee jammed the wrong way and I know instantly I was fucked. I skated that entire part with a bum knee and between the pain I felt after every part and how bad I felt my skating looked in it I thought I was “done”. So to be able to film this part was just a blessing and these two songs I listened to damn near every single day at work for 3 years to a point where I was a .01 percent in the top INXS listeners on YouTube in 2024. I feel like these songs when I heard them just kinda made me feel like yeah I need to skate to this and then crafting a part basically out of what I was listening to every day and having it all come together was one of the easiest edits I ever had to do for myself in the history of me making edits. I usually nit pick every little thing or completely blow up a timeline and start fresh but honestly with this it just worked. I was hit up after the video came out that the songs had been used before but I just hit them with the same comment I’ll hit you with. Great Minds Think Alike. Every person or someone that has a passion in a craft has a vision on what they want their skating to look like. I really don’t care if someone used it 3x , this is my take on it. That being said Nick and I went out for 2 years for this after I thought I would never make a part again. I made 2. 6 years released after Dyno2 in 2019 which was actually footage from 2017-18 so to be able to release this at whats considered in 1996 an ancient age of 39. I probably spent about 10K on this video with travel equipment time food and everything and I think as we get older that’s the thing holding back great videos being made.
