Testing my Velcro strap V2! – JAD

My V2 velcro straps are around the corner! I am updating the Velcro for my V2 Velcro straps. It’s one piece Velcro that has the hook and loop in each strip so there’s no seem in the middle. It looks cleaner and slides through the metal loop nice and smooth. And its thicker so it adds to the strength of the strap. It’s a little less tacky or grippy then the old 2 peice but it can take a sweat stance like nothing. I’ve had no issues with it. And I was crouching low in attempts to pop open the Velcro in this session and it wouldn’t budge.The V2 will use the same veg tan leather as my belts.The Velcro is joined to the leather with the same glue and rivets as the v1 but I added a nylon stitching around the edges. And I carve a small channel for the nylon stitch to sit in so it’s more flush with the surface of the leather. That should protect the stitch better.Let me know what you think!

Short session with my 2021 Adapt Brutale. It’s such an amazing blade. So responsive and slides great, comfortable and light!Now that I am attempting to make rollerblade straps and sell them, I can really appreciate these skates even more. Each skate is handmade which is quite achievement for how clean they come out and how awesome they look! Consistency is also something that is way more difficult than I thought. Having each pair come out amazing is not easy.

hello y’all! Sorry I haven’t been posting many review videos or how-to videos lately. I started making and selling rollerblade Velcro straps. Now I’m also adding rollerblade buckles to the mix! Buckles aren’t as easy to fine tune your cuff, but I think they sure look classy! I hope to start selling these very soon! Sorry I haven’t uploaded a new video in a long time. I’ve had so much going on with work. Here’s a quick one. I decided to try this rail again in town that I did a long time ago when I was in my early 20s. After doing the 26 stair I thought this would be a piece a cake and I will get it in one or two tries. Definitely not the case. This rail did not want me to win. Here’s a quick video without music or anything to show you my attempts. Do not try anything you see in this video ever.
