A Skatepark With Its Own Castle King’s Park Skatepark, Stirling
from Wheel Scene on 10 May 2026
King’s Park Skatepark in Stirling can lay claim to being the only skatepark in Scotland, possibly even the UK, with a famous castle as a backdrop. The castle dates back to the 15th century and it’s where Mary Queen of Scots was crowned…and the bloody thing overlooks the skatepark! The latest version of the skatepark was completed in 2012 and some sections are showing quite a bit of wear and tear, but it still has some good features that you can have a session on, including a couple of rails and a pretty extensive concrete bowl.
