This is the part of my skating journey when aggressive skating became boring and mundane. I had to start letting go of a bunch of walls that I had made throughout the years of how skating should be. I started making relationships in skate communities outside of the aggressive circles. I was finding so many passionate skaters that had the same itch to skate and learn new things as I did. I would teach them about the skateparks and how to ride them and they would teach me what it looked like to enjoy skates in many different ways. I gained lifelong lessons during my “organic blade skate” journey.
