I spent a lot of my life finding my worth in what I could be for other people. A father, husband, friend, skater, provider, and helper.There’s nothing wrong with loving people deeply. I still do! But I’m learning that I can’t build my worth on being needed, accepted, appreciated, or chosen by someone else. I have to choose me too.Loving yourself first isn’t loving others less. It’s learning to love them without losing yourself in the process. Love yourself. Before others.
