One MUST AVOID And One MUST VISIT Skatepark In Alloa, Scotland (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneOne MUST AVOID And One MUST VISIT Skatepark In Alloa, Scotland
from Wheel Scene on 24 Mar 2026

I visited Alloa’s two VERY different skateparks, one is heavenly and one is definitely a contender for skatepark hell. If you visit Alloa Skatepark, you will be treated to a variety of ledges, banks, rails and coping which have all been expertly crafted by one of the UK’s best skatepark building companies. If you visit Sauchie Skatepark, you will experience sandpaper ground, crumbling concrete, ramps of confusing proportions and a variety of boxes with coping so sunken into them that making any grind slide is a dangerous mission – all made by a landscaping company that have never built a skatepark before. To see more videos like this that are not on the YouTube channel, join the Wheel Scene Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/wheelscene

Echo Hayden Ball vs Iqon ACT – Which Skate Is Better? (Wheel Scene)

from Wheel Scene on 19 Mar 2026

If you are looking for an incredibly nerdy breakdown of the differences between the Echo Hayden Ball Pro Skate and the Iqon ACT aggressive skates, you have come to the right place. I look at weight, flex, cuff height, shock absorption, soul plate width and more. I also take both pairs of skates to Loading Bay Skatepark for a few hours and swap between the two various times in order to better understand how the skates compare to one another. One Day On The Echo Hayden Ball Pro Skate (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneOne Day On The Echo Hayden Ball Pro Skate
from Wheel Scene on 7 Mar 2026

Echo sent me a pair of the Hayden Ball pro skate to see what I thought of the various changes they have made since the initial release of the Echo Verve…because I had a few complaints the last time I skated them. I decided to take them out on a little journey around various Glasgow street spots, which was my first time skating outside since last year. I am a size 10UK shoe and a 285 mondo, and I skated the size 9.5UK Echo Hayden Ball. Here is my review of the original Echo Verve skate:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsQAl5bjMmoTo see more videos like this, join the Wheel Scene Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/c/wheelscene

Echo Hayden Ball Pro Skate – First Impressions (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneEcho Hayden Ball Pro Skate – First Impressions
from Wheel Scene on 24 Feb 2026

Hayden Ball is the first skater to receive a pro model from Echo and there have been some notable changes between the original Echo Verve model and this signature skate. It’s also quite unusual in that the skate is a collaboration between Echo, Red Eye Wheels and rival boot brand Iqon. In this video I discuss my initial impressions on their latest skate and compare it to my experiences with the original Echo Verve when I last skated it almost two years ago, as well as going through what I like about the skate and what changes I would still like to see.
