2002 and Im pretty new to this being a professional skater thing. I remember my Mom taking me to get a haircut and she asked the woman if she could cut my hair like a professional skater. Im also a very sensitive being and was pretty known for being soft. Hence the nickname Killa Cam that was given to me by a peer of mine. He said Youre too soft, we need to make you harder. It seemed the trend back then was to poke at each other and push each others buttons. People were louder about that than actually celebrating the people around them. I remember when people would get loud for another skater, it seemed uncomfortable for me. Like it wasnt normal to celebrate yourself or anyone else. You dont want to ruin the clip!! Nowadays I make sure to let people know I saw them and I was impressed. For me its all about personal progression and growth. This said person may have done this said trick on this said spot, but I didnt! Let me, do me!1h
