I decided to dip my feet back into the deep end of street aggressive inline. Man it is hard and sometimes scary. I love street but I’m not quite sure how much longer my 37.75 year old bones can handle a spill on a 16 stair handrail. These might seem like small tricks to the mass population of bladers. For me, there are big accomplishments in this video chasing the 20 year old version of myself. Don’t try anything you see in any of my videos ever. I finally had a chance to ride a park and film a little by myself on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I have to vent a little though. I am 37 going on 38…. I hate it. I love Rollerblading more than ever! It takes me back to my teens when my dad used to drop me off at B17 in CT. (Skate shop and park) I would blade for hours and hours. That is where I purchased my Salomon ST9s. Best blades ever and we need to a reboot!!!! My mind is there but I can tell my body is taking it harder now. I think maybe I am trying to make up for lost time? I am definitely thankful that I can still blade though. So I am not going to complain. Thank you to all the Rollerbladers out there filming themselves and posting it. Especially the older ones. You are motivating me to keep blading!
