BUTTERTV PRESENTS: The Metrocard Classic 2025 – Raining Ruckus

September 4th-7th 2025. New York City – Following up after 2023s success is no easy task especially when the most uncontrollable variable happens: RAIN and lots of it. Two days out of four isnt too bad considering the forecast said rain all week. The first day was the DSTRY Popup where Reverse Halo was premiered as well as a photo exhibit. The weather during day 2 at the famous Brooklyn banks held out long enough to get a session in as well as being able to finish the day with Metro Mania, the first Inline Alley Cat Race hosted by Track or Dies Shardy Nieves and finally ending with a 25th anniversary viewing of Live From New York and Theories. We even premiered two of our own videos as well. There was no salvaging day 3 as the rain hit the park hard so day 4 was on a very tight schedule and I would say it turned out to be a successful day. It was a pleasure to see everyone rip the DIY course and as always, its a great time to be around the NYC fam. This is home. They werent like anybody else, I mean, they did whatever they wanted. Henry HillNew York, New York 2024-2025. After putting out solo videos of Austin and Justin in the past, it only made sense that we came together and put out a joint collaboration. Filmed over two summers, we trekked around most of the city on skates encountering many types of people who either loved our skating, to the security guards that made it difficult for us to get just one more try, and then there were those that were on another plane of existence expressing their thoughts in the background while we were filming. The banter between the three of us was nonstop and hilarious but when it came down to the skating these two definitely put in the work. New York City – Summer of 2023 ended with a huge bang featuring a multitude of skate events. From a rail jam session to celebrating the reopening at the famous Brooklyn Banks 9 stair, to the eighth annual Boschi Pope Skate Off, and ending with the infamous New York Skate Invitational. Tons of great skating took place and the energy was insane. The long weekend also featured a historic New York City art exhibition where people could get a glimpse of the culture over the past 30 years through photos with live music and plenty of drinks to go around. BUTTERTV PRESENTS: Brooklyn Blade Comp 2025 – No Sleep Till

Let me get a yerrrrrrrrrrrrr Jay MercadoJuly 26th, 2025. Brooklyn, New York – Now in its fourth summer, the Brooklyn Blade Comp is running stronger than ever here in New York as it returned to Ocean Hill Skate Park. The vibes are what you would expect from a comp in NYC, crowded, energetic, and unpredictable. If theres one word to put it all together it would be: LOUD and being a native New Yorker myself, I find peace in that. I did get to the competition late so unfortunately I missed a few heats and most of the ladies competition but hopefully I can provide you with a glimpse and well definitely be looking forward to seeing more people at the next one.
