I love riding mega ramps and I love playing golf, but I never thought I would get the chance to do them both in the same day. My buddy Scotty Crawford and I took a trip down to the Megaranch in Melbourne to do exactly that!

As the title implies, this video was made from footage was filmed for, but did not make the final cut of my profiles in Leading the Blind, Drip Drop, Fade Nation, and Regardless. This includes, unused tricks, second angles, and a few behind the scenes things that happened during the filming. I had a lot of fun going back through these old tapes to throw this together so I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did making it.

I bought a set of Famus Wheels to get some more speed for the ramps I was riding with Nitro Circus. Do they live up to the hype? Huge thanks to Shaun Williams for filming! – https://www.instagram.com/thenameshaun/

I recently started majorly geeking out on the new technology that has been coming out in the last few years in the rollerblading world. My latest intrigue has been with optimizing an “aggressive” style skate set up for speed for the work I do with Nitro Circus. What I have been eyeing is the lowest riding, most stable, fastest set up possible and it led me to buying a set of FAMUS wheels that have an aluminum core and are said to be the fastest wheels on the market. I completely understand why these should be faster than your average wheel, but they don’t come without their cons. In order to make sure the bearings fit snug into the aluminum the size has to be exact which makes it quite difficult to get the bearings into and out of these wheels. I found some things that helped me and wanted to share the knowledge to help others to maximize the value they get out of such an expensive wheel.

Chris Haffey Huge Double Misty (Chris Haffey)

This is by far the biggest ramp set up that I have ever hit. The take off was a few feet taller than your standard vert ramp. That makes this easily the biggest double misty I have ever done. I was so stoked to be able to put this one down! You can check out a few other angles of it in Action Figures the movie that is available for download on iTunes.
