In this video, Im sharing a funny and somewhat dramatic story from my childhood in the late 1980s. When I was about 7 or 8 years old, I had a pretty serious accident while sledding in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany. My dad brought home this awesome new red plastic snow sled with a steering wheel and brakes, and I was too excited to listen to my brothers instructions on how to use it. Naturally, I forgot everything he said and ended up crashing headfirst into a guardrail at full speed. The impact was so intense that I ended up in a coma and got a scar across my forehead thats still visible today.
