from Jan Welch on 14 Oct 2025

Wiener Walzer is a 1997 VHS skate video created by Michael Bayr, the founder of Be-Mag. It features Austrian skaters such as Andreas Buchrieser, Jon Elliott (his first ever section), and Ren Schmid, along with German skaters Matteo Attanasio, Marc Heinzmann, and Benjamin Drechsler. The video also includes footage from Warsaw, Poland, the Polish Championships, and the IISS Contest in Amsterdam, featuring pros like Arlo Eisenberg, Jeff Laretto, Brian Smith, and Randy Spizer.Id previously uploaded Jon Elliotts section, and after several people asked to see the full videohere it is.You might be wondering how Jon ended up in a random Austrian skate video from 1997. The answer is simple Jon was born and raised in Austria. His parents were American missionaries living near Stockerau, a town about 30 minutes outside of Vienna. Not long after this video was released, Jon moved to the Los Angeles area to live with his aunt, began working at Team Paradise, and filmed with Brian Smith for his Wasteland section.Check out my wheel brand Dream at https://dreamurethane.com/Visit Be-Mag at https://be-mag.com/

Leading the Blind was the very first 4×4 Team video, edited by me alongside Pat Lennen. It features unforgettable sections from Chris Haffey, Pat Lennen, Alex Broskow, Brian Shima, and the rest of the 4×4 and Rat Tail crew. For this upload, I upscaled the video to 1080p to bring you one of the cleanest versions youll find online. I also added some personal commentary before and after the video to give a little extra context and thoughts. If youre stoked on this piece of blading history from 2004, drop a like and share your thoughts in the commentsId love to hear what Leading the Blind meant to you!Although most of the pro team has stepped back from blading, Alex Broskow is still out there killing it. Straight out of 2003, heres some behind-the-scenes gold with Jon Elliott. While filming for a Ground Control project, we had the team sit down and talk about each other. These outtakes with Jon are some of my favoriteswith the kind of delivery that makes me laugh every single time, even 20+ years later. It was originally meant for the GC website or maybe a video projectI honestly cant even remember at this pointbut Im glad these clips survived. The website for my brand Dream Urethane – https://dreamurethane.com/Looking for some aggressive inline skates?
