Grab your FREE Stride Training Drills (beginner & intermediate); https://skatefresh.com/freebie-beginner/ https://skatefresh.com/freebie-intermediate/Most inline skaters think that by “just skating” a lot they will build core skills and a strong foundation. But this isn’t the norm. Most self-taught (YouTube educated) skaters will end up trying to copy speed skaters they see online (or in real life) and this unfortunately doesn’t often produce great results. As a beginner it’s important to use certain drills and exercise movements to help you train separate parts of your skating stride, such as the Push, the Glide, the Regroup & the desired edges. When trained individually, progress is faster and more noticeable and you’re less likely to develop bad habits that hinder your progress (or style).Let us know in the comments what you think of the Free Stride Drills and what doing them showed you about your skating.Thank you to Michael for allowing this footage to be shared. He completed the Berlin Marathon (2025) and plans to continue fitness & distance skating.#howtoinlineskate #learntorollerblade #speedskating #rollerblading #beginnerinlineskaterWho is Asha Skatefresh?
