The Sunday following Thanksgiving 2014 was an incredibly perfect day for skating. Well, at least in BeeGee it was. A gathering of our kind met at the local skatepark. There would have been more skating, but the common problem of non-charged batteries became a thing of existence. Though after the fact, there was a great kind grind photo taken on the barrier. You can see it on the @southernscum instagram and or facebook.

Also, it’s a bit sloppy. A software update would go a long way at this point. A computer update would not hurt either. Enjoy the vid!

Packed things up and moved to Lexington, Kentucky not long ago. We are trying to coordinate weekly Saturday Morning Sessions. This was shot Saturday October 15, 2014.

Maybe we will produce product in the future.

Commercial Advertisement made for the Useless Concepts DVD which was only released in digital copies. Which meant no room for SS AD. So here’s a freebie, from your favorite steady rising brand. The sky is the limit.

Nashville Tennessee has been a hub to the southern inline skating community for many years. Mainly because of a ride or die skate shop known as, Asphalt Beach. The owner Steve, has not only stood firm through all of rollerblading’s up and downs. But has continued to put skates to good use longer than half of our kind could even tie their skates.

For many years now, the shop has hosted numerous amounts of contest. One of the more popular styles are what we call Box Comp’s. On September 20, 2014 the shop hosted one in it’s front parking lot. Skaters from scattered areas showed up and the spectators developed purely out of sight and interest through out the whole event.

Just as every southern sk8 event here lately, Philip Moore showed up. Just as every southern sk8 event here lately, he rolled tied. Cleaned up house no problem, snagging that first place spot. Followed by local head Cameron Martin and long time veteran, Norcal legend recently gone south, Jon Morciglio.

Here are just a few of the tricks that happened that day.

Who needs music with golden sunshine such as this.
