In my constant quest to find products which make street ledges slide faster, I decided to give external gloss varnish a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re like me and you find that aerosol lacquer spray doesn’t create enough of a layer on the ledge and you still need to break it in for quite some time with a repetitive cycle of waxing and skating, and wearing down your skates, this could be the thing for you. Disclaimer: Doing DIY on streets spots isn’t exactly legal, so you may want to take extra care or get a friend to keep lookout while you do it.
