Rollerblading has an entertaining history of pro skaters who like to stir things up, from Josh Petty to Aaron Feinberg and Champion Baumstimler, but France’s Stephane Alfano has definitely made a strong bid for rollerblading’s biggest troublemaker over his impressive and sometimes controversial career.
Stephane has won more events than he can remember and taken podium position at some of the biggest rollerblading events of all times, which will also be celebrated in this video. However, there have been multiple ugly moments throughout his career when things haven’t gone his way and it has resulted in the Frenchman being banned from several international events. This video takes a look at two events in particular that have made Stephane infamous throughout the blading community.

This is how I like to do it and of course there are many ways to get to the same results. If you’re rocking aluminum or metal hubs on your wheels this advice won’t apply to you. You might need a bearing press or other tools to install the bearings on the wheels. Aluminum hubs or metal hubs fit very tightly against the bearing and it’s extremely difficult to change them without the right tools. This video is for wheels with plastic inner hubs. Let me know what you think and if you have any other suggestions or tips in the comments! Hope this helps!
