My re cut version of Chris’s section from Too Much Love 2. I made this section to my absolute favorite rap song of all time and felt that it meshed well with the strong, fast yet controlled and graceful movements that Chris produces during his tricks.

This was an edit I made before the release of the original tml2 trailer. I intended it to be something along the lines of Half online edit, Half Trailer. However putting that much footage online while on the verge of a release is not the smartest option so I never finished it entirely. However I am a fan of this little piece and love the cover of Danger Zone that I used for the music.

Brett Dasovic- Xsjado 2 Sessions edit (by Andrew Murray) (Brett Dasovic)

**Another longer message…BEWARE

This was a small promo edit I made for Xsjado with a session from summer and a session from one of the last park sessions at Summit Skatepark before it closed down!

On both of these days, I went out to shoot a few chill clips with my friend Andrew Murray and while getting the photos we decided to get the clips of the tricks as well and he was kind enough to put this edit together for me. The street session was one of my first times really trying to put my mind to clips while on Xsjado skates. the park session was a few months later and I was amazed at just how much fun skating park was in these blades. The beauty of skating a new skate after years on a different model was you get inspired to move your skating in new directions even if going that new direction is not always something you are comfortable with.

With a little over 15 years of skating under my belt, Xsjado has helped me find some new inspiration in how I look at the sport and as someone who puts a high value on finding ways to make your skating unique to yourself. it’s amazing how the combination of both Free movement in your foot as well as stability in your ankle, was not only a new feeling but a feeling that helped me find inspiration in my skating that has helped me grow even more. Usually you had to choose between solid/sturdy and flexible/free movement. Switching to Xsjado was a decision that I worried about a great deal since I was always very fond of the USD UFS Throne. But with every session I get more comfortable and more sure that I have made a great choice and I recommend this to anyone looking to find some inspiration for their skating or just looking to break away from the standard hard shell skate mold.

Not every skate, is a good choice for every skater, But the unique experience that the 2.0 provides is something worth trying even if its just to see if its the right skate for you. Hope you like the chill blading sessions and if you want to try the new Xsjado 2.0 pro model Chris Farmer or Sean Kelso, Hit up your favorite skate shop and take a chance on something new!

*Warning Wall of text about the origin of this edit & follow up.

From last spring, the first sessions documenting my transition from USD to Xsjado.

2013 was a year of change for me. Perhaps the biggest change I made was that of my boot sponsor. Since announcement of Xsjado developing a Hinged cuff skate I had made inquires to the conference about switching from USD to Xsjado. I knew it would be a big change but I was not expecting it to happen at a time when my whole life was changing as well. I was not only on a whole new type of skate, but I was in a very unique time in my life and the skate change mirrored my life and the way I was growing. I was living in a new home W/ no car & not exactly close to those I usually went out and skated with. So, w/o a mode of transportation, I was not able to get around to sessions like I normally would. Since the usual sessions were out, I decided to get creative and make an edit with my iPhone and kill two birds with one stone and skate around my new neighborhood and search for new spots while filming some of the tricks to see what I looked like on the 2.0. I did the extremely basic editing on my phone as well and even though the whole thing was a bit strange and not how I would normally promote my sponsors…we work with what we have and I remembered how adjusting to a new skate was something I loved about skating growing up. The tricks are not groundbreaking and unfamiliar skates and terrain are apparent. But it was fun and that is what I do this sport for. To have fun and push myself anyway that I can.

Its been about a year since I made this little deal and I have not only adjusted to the changes in my life, I have fallen in love the the Xsjado 2.0 skate design. With Sping/Summer upon us, expect to see a great deal of new blading content from not only myself, but all of the Minnesota Blading homies.

If you like what you saw here or in my short Xsjado 2 sessions edit, I will recommend you contact your favorite blade shop and pick up a pair of Chris Farmer or Sean Kelso Xsjado 2.0 skates and get ready for an incredibly new blading experience…cheers.
