Since 2006 I have put together a collective edit to conclude the year of internet released blading tricks from various promo or simply fun blading edits I have made in the past year. 2011 was a year with less edits made but less extras and filler material.

This is a little piece I but together in my head when I first got my Hands on the iPhone 4. The images themselves do not tell a linear story. They are simply flashes of people, places and events that came to pass during the early spring and full summer of 2011. The reason it is organized in this format is because to me our memories work alot like this form of video montage, we dont see everything in crystal clear picture and sound all the time when we recollect things. We recall things in patches. We filter out the good and the bad and our minds tend to amplify the things that dig into us emotionally and make the good even better and the bad even worse. In this case, I focused on good memories and fun experiences and visuals shot on a whim throughout the past summer. I did not preplan the look or what to shoot. I just let life come at me and did my best to document it as it came to pass!
This video features everything from the worlds most majestic puppy, to a patch of light that was dappled through a tree and flaring at just the right time in just the right place. There are aerials of Raleigh NC shot from a Boeing 747 and other shots of friends just hanging out and being friends. Summer is all about experience and this is a 2.5 minute glimpse into just a few of the moments that made up my summer.
