Today Grandma watched the kids and Kendall was down to help me film.

Although I’m familiar with the trick it’s been a while since I’ve done one. I had high expectations for myself but I soon realized it was much harder then I had anticipated. I keep forgetting I’ve been riding these bigs and have strayed away from a lot of the grinds I use to do all the time.

You have to be a lot more precise with these frames. You really only have the 2nd channel to land in. Other wise you will be dealing with a double wheel bite.

I’m got lucky this week and had Mike Falcone (https://www.instagram.com/malkeyficone/) and Stuart Campbell (https://www.instagram.com/stuartcampbell/) in town to skate with me. I had three days in a row of aggressive skating. That’s a big deal for me now a days!

Torques are hard every time I relearn them! This time was a little more difficult since it was the first time I’ve done one on the Ground Control BIG frames.

I’m going through another rough patch with aggressive skating. My roommate Jimmy Hake (https://www.instagram.com/jimmyhake/) recently moved to Minnesota to work at an amusement park skating shows for the summer. He and I are currently the only active “aggressive” rollerbladers that live in the area. It was much easier with him here to get the motivation to skate.

Luckily I got on Facebook the other day and noticed Guy Crawford post that the Be-Mag message board was doing another game of BLADE. (http://www.be-mag.com/msgboard/showthread.php/74112-THE-BE-MAG-GAME-OF-BLADE-ROUND-2) Perfect timing! It was just the right amount of spark I needed. A good outlet to create and have motivation to skate! I’m in. I am so glad there are people out there putting in work to keep the drive alive.

05 17 16 OBS2 Boston Tuesday Night Skate

I’ve been up in New Hampshire for the last two weeks building at Rye Airfield Skatepark. I took a trip to Boston to join the Inline Club of Boston on their Tuesday Night Skate. We showed up ten minutes late and had to play catch up. We ended up catching up after a few miles of Gabe Holm tracking someone who was live tracking the skate. We had a great time and would recommend everyone look up city’s they are close to, to see if they have one.
