The 20th Anniversary of FISE

The Festival International des Sports Extremes (FISE) gathers the best international riders over 5 days of insanity, with nearly 25 different competitions in skateboard, inline skate, mountain bike, BMX and wakeboard. With a unique competition format open to both pros, amateur, junior and women riders, the event is free to attend for the public.

Come to Montpellier from May 24-28 and watch the champions of today and tomorrow ride all day long and come celebrate the 20th years old of the FISE with us!

Le FISE Fête ses 20 ans

Créé en 1997, Le FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) fête cette année ses 20 ans et a lieu chaque année pendant le weekend de l’Ascension et s’impose aujourd’hui comme l’un des plus grands évènements incontournables de sports extrêmes ! Il se déroule du 24 au 28 mai sur les berges du Lez à Montpellier.
Le festival réunit chaque année le meilleur de la scène BMX, Roller, Skateboard, Wakeboard et VTT, des athlètes de renoms offrent au public un spectacle unique et riche en sensation. Pendant 5 jours, 5 sports et près de 25 compétitions installées sur un site agréable aux abords d’un fleuve accueillent des festivaliers dans un cadre unique.

Enfin, vous attentiez tous les dates de cette tournée 2017 FISE Xperience et c’est donc à Amiens que tout débute.Le parc de la Hotoie va accueillir la première étape FISE Xperience du 6 au 8 mai, et on a vu les choses en grand avec pas moins de 4 sports FISE au programme : Wakeboard, BMX Freestyle, Roller et Skateboard.

Finally, as you were all waiting for the dates of this 2017 FISE Xperience tour : everything will start in Amiens.”Le parc de la Hotoie” will welcome the first FISE Xperience stopover from may 6 to 8, and we thought big with no less than 4 FISE sports on the programme : Wakeboarding, BMX Freestyle, Roller and Skateboarding.

Les meilleurs riders du monde seront, cette année encore, au Vendéspace lors de l’édition 2017 du Vendée Freestyle Session pour vous faire vibrer au rythme des disciplines de glisse freestyle.

Pendant trois jours, l’un des plus grands shows indoor de France prend place dans la grande salle du Vendéspace. Venez admirer trois shows exceptionnels de Skateboard, Roller et BMX regroupant les meilleurs freestylers du monde, dans un tout nouveau park encore plus grand et plus haut !

Le Vendée Freestyle Session c’est aussi l’occasion de venir s’initier et profiter des animations gratuites en journée.

Highlight Roller Park – FISE World Chengdu-China 2016

Julien Cudot is the overall winner of the FISE World Series and will be invited to defend his title next year.

French talent Roman Abrate fought hard for second place, but in the end the 2015 overall winner Joe Atkinson’s original approach and perfect use of the course earned him the extra point to reach the second spot on the podium ahead of Roman who delivered three runs packed with too many tricks to list!

Belgium’s Jeremy Suarez and Thailand’s Jeerasak Tassorn respectively took fourth and fifth place, rounding off the final results of this international field.Young talent is emerging quick in Asia, as 10 years old Lee Seung-Hun from Korea won the amateur contest earlier this morning, showing all the progress he’s made since he first attended the FISE World Series in Chengdu two years ago! Well done Lee.
