Well, I went skating again, good times.
This is not supposed to be a skate-profile, more of a chronological view at what happend while I went skating. My goal was to to reflect the joy that comes along in a more realistic, less sugarcoated way. Some smart talking deep shit, you know.
To put it in a nutshell, quoting RME/DW: I align fancy foot manoeuvres to music.
Most of the time filmed by Alex Rudolf (aka the laughing camera). Additional footage from Hirby, Dario Soller, Chris Hack, Daniel Gourski, Eugen Enin, Dom West, Richie Eisler, Worapoj Boonnim and Michael Weinlein.
To connect with my 2010 file, the track is again “die käfer – es ist alles zu viel “. This time, the “nimm 4” version.
These is a sequel to my little portrait video from 2008: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7ksconZaWA
All of these faces have been filmed at Winterclash in february 2011. These times, it was a less personal and more or less wider approach on who to film.
Some friends, some strangers, some blading stars (welcome to the King of Kong), some of my teenage heroes and some others.
Music is “Swimming Song” by Loudon Wainwright III.

Moderat at Berlin Festival 2009 – The World Organisation
Bringing my old vimeo videos back to life on YouTube.
This is a short clip of a Moderat show at Berlin Festival in summer 2009. The visuals were done by Pfandfinderei.
Shot in 720 50p with the Lumix GH1, a canon 50mm 1,4F lense and a skylight filter, colour corrected with Magic Bullet Looks and slowed down to 50 percent at 25p in Cinema Tools.
The song used is a small part of a Joakim remix of “Longing for Lullabies” by Kleerup.
amusing additional info: I forgot about the skylight filter, so I was pretty surprised when I checked the footage afterwards. Sometimes it looks pretty nice, most of the time it´s some nonsense blue-ish spots in the lower half of the picture… next time more coffee, less beer!
