How and why I stretch.

My daily stretching routine takes about 15-25 minutes. Usually after a workout, session or at the end of the day. Flexibility definitely has improved my skating. It has helped be to avoid some nasty falls and allows to feel more aware of my body while learning new things. Focusing on the breath will also help calm the running thoughts and come back to the present moment. its been 9 weeks!

Visiting the worlds oldest still running skatepark- KONA! Was lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Years with my family in Florida. I could finally try to strap my skates back on and go for the first session after my surgery which was 9 weeks ago. I used this chance of being near by and visit this historical place. Still long way to go to be fully back in full power but I’m so happy to feel skates under my feet. Hope you enjoy!
