from Tom Sharman on 29 Dec 2013

Capturing the amazing craziness of the beautiful country of Japan, from a two week retreat in October 2013 with a good friend and fellow explorer. Please enjoy some of my highlights.

Thanks to all the great people we met along the way and who made us feel so welcome.

Shout outs:
Ms Lee, Mr Ken and their daughter who dressed up in a kimono especially for the opening introductory shot. Visit their guest house in Kyoto, they’ll make you feel at home – http://www.hennka.com
Ryochi and Yuri and their architectural masterpiece – a capsule hotel situated up in the mountains of Koyason. You have to see it to believe it – http://koyasanguesthouse.com/en/
Teruo and his friends for the food and karaoke and giving us a great last night in Tokyo.
And lastly the interesting gentleman (named Hideo Asano), with his words of wisdom, who we found strolling the streets of Nara and was nice enough to shed some of his various thoughts on camera. Check out his website: http://www.hideoasano.com
