Bogarting Hossloch Skatehalle//Germany//Winter 2016

Bogarting the park with Thomas Stracciatello and Pat Ridder at Hossloch indoor skatepark. This park has been up and running for 20 years and its fun as shit to skate. Its a little dark and i was trying to figure out the settings for this camera with this lens in low light conditions. I figured out after i finished that i had to increase the gain to about 12db (gets grainy at that level). Shooting this it was at about 6db and f5.2. f1.6-5 really screws it up with my new fisheye.

Here are a few short clips of Karlis, I ran into this dude at the skate park in Manheim and he did not disappoint. He is constantly landing tricks first try and always doing the hardest fucking tricks. I really only skated with the guy 3 times and in the short amount of time I got these tricks. I can only imagine if I went full out film mode on this dude Im sure he would give me good clips.

Also he has been competing in most of the competitions in Europe and has been pretty consistently placing. The last comp he got first place at the Grindhouse Miniramp comp at the Backyard (RIP). That edit should be coming out soon :). So enjoy the few clips I have of this guy I hope you all enjoy it.

Chillin at the BackYard 2015

What up

This was filmed on Easter Weekend at the BackYard skatepark in Germany. It was a pretty crazy weekend, i would have more footage if i filmed more but i wanted to skate too hahaha. Thanks to everyone for letting me film them a bit and to Sylvain Rigaud for giving me all the French skaters names.

Also sorry for the flickering from the light bulbs i got to be mindful of that if i ever film indoors again.

Goodbye Friends (South Korea) part 2

Here is my last edit i kind of just threw clips in here since i have just a few hours left before i get all my house hold goods shipped. No computer for a week….its gonna suck. Thanks again to all the Korean skaters for letting me film you. Shout outs to Seth Chandler for being our translator, Good Day for all ways being down to shred, and Kevin for letting us crash for a night. Ill never forget that, if any of travel to Germany hit me up you guys can crash on my couch. Also big thanks to Chris Williams for letting us crash on his couch on Youngsan and Chris Placeres for always being down to film and being bad ass behind the camera. I’m going to miss you guys.
