Them 901 Initial Thoughts & First Session (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneThem 901 Initial Thoughts & First Session

My Them 901 pre-order has arrived! I take a look at the skate, discussing the new features, sizing, issues I have had with Them Skates in the past, and recommendations for anyone who owns the Them 901 or 909, or anyone who is thinking about buying either Them Skates model. I also break the skate in at a couple of street spots and stack some clips, as well as a couple of slams…as usual. Hillbombing the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow – Blind Turns, Sketchy Ground and High Crash Risk (Wheel Scene)

For this video, I went on an adventure through the Clyde Tunnel footpath in Glasgow to see how fast I could get from one end to the other and the top speed I could achieve while flying down the cold, dark tunnels. Unfortunately, because it was so far beneath ground, the Strava app on my phone stopped working and didn’t record the time it took or the highest speed, but it still ended up being quite eventful. I ended up having a couple of interactions with pedestrians, flew round some blind turns to get the heart rate going and had some pretty scary speed wobble moments. I thought freeskating might be a little safer than aggressive skating, but it turns out I’ve found a way to make it equally as dangerous. In the process of filming for a new street section, I have somehow ended up with an entire section’s worth of leftovers. i’m slowly chipping away at something that is hopefully better…which should see the light of day soon. In the meantime… Filmed mainly by Elliot Provan, with some assistance from Scott Riddles, Craig Anderson and Chris Duncan. If you want to see more videos like this, join the Wheel Scene Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/c/wheelscene
