Park Life – Liam Wilson (wheelsceneblading)

wheelscenebladingPark Life – Liam Wilson
from wheelsceneblading on 24 May 2015

At just 17 years old, Liam Wilson has a ridiculous amount of talent on skates, combining faultless consistency, a seemingly endless trick vocabulary, lines for days and a relentlessly persistent drive.

This edit was filmed over the course of four sessions at his three locals – Livingston Skatepark, Blackburn Skatepark and Saughton Skatepark – and the majority of the tricks were landed multiple times in succession without any questions or complaints. When someone’s reliable warm up trick is a head-high flatspin, it starts to make you wonder what is possible if he really pushes himself.

Filmed and edited by David McNamara.

Take Me To The Hospital – Liam Wilson (wheelsceneblading)

wheelscenebladingTake Me To The Hospital – Liam Wilson
from wheelsceneblading on 17 May 2015

We tried to film the ender for Liam Wilson’s Park Life section during the week, but it didn’t go exactly as planned. He must have attempted this trick over 50 times, taking a serious beating in the process. He was robbed on at least five occasions. What you see here are some of the funniest bails, the worst slams and the closest attempts. Rather than let the footage go to waste, we decided to have a little fun with it.

James Keyte – Rain or Shine (wheelsceneblading)

wheelscenebladingJames Keyte – Rain or Shine
from wheelsceneblading on 15 May 2015

Filmed in just a few sessions over the course of a year, James Keyte always went hard despite rain and snow trying to halt proceedings. His all or nothing attitude nearly cost him dearly while filming the roof drop ender in this section, sustaining a serious back injury that is only just starting to heal six months later.

Go big or go home is the only way he knows and it’s incredible to watch.

Filmed and edited by David McNamara. Additional footage by Sam Crofts.

wheelscenebladingFredrik Andersson – Wheel Scene Profile
from wheelsceneblading on 24 Nov 2014

We are honoured to present our latest Wheel Scene profile featuring Sweden’s Fredrik Andersson.

Andersson has been going strong for a few years now and 2014 has been no different. He joined the Razors amateur team earlier this year and last month he received his first pro wheel from Sic Urethane.

If he keeps going at this rate, we can only imagine what 2015 will bring.

Fred would like to thank Razors, Ground Control, Sic Urethane, Hedonskate, Zero One Six Skatepark and Shaped By The Cold for their support.
