Situated across the street from Loading Bay Skatepark in Glasgow, behind the brand new apartment buildings at the top of Harvey Street, lies a hidden skatepark that was built and accidentally stumbled upon by the extreme sports community of Glasgow. It would appear the new playground was built by the property developers behind the housing complex that has been constructed in the area. While their intentions were good, clearly to provide entertainment for families with children and teenagers, it has been met with a lot of complaints from home owners and tenants, who are not happy with the mess and anti social behaviour the skatepark has attracted. With its fate already in the balance, I decided to give the new skatepark a visit and the results were…mixed.
