Intuition Premium vs Intuition V2 What’s the difference?! (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneIntuition Premium vs Intuition V2 What’s the difference?!
from Wheel Scene on 23 Jul 2024

I compare the intuition Premium liner to its iconic predecessor – the Intuition V2 – and outline the changes that Intuition have made to the latest version of their liner, the things I like about it, the things that I don’t, and the improvements that I still feel could be made. TNEC 58 – the best beginner aggressive skate…or something more? (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneTNEC 58 – the best beginner aggressive skate…or something more?
from Wheel Scene on 4 Jul 2024

I skated the TNEC 58 Skate by The New Everything Company for a month at various street and skatepark sessions, roughed them up a bit and in this video I offer my thoughts on it. I take the deepest of deep dives on every aspect of the skate, compare it to other models in its price range, comment on where I feel it sits in the marketplace, the exciting prospects of the concept for the brand compared to the reality of its performance and lifespan. Ballingry Skatepark with Chris Goldie and Elliot Provan (Wheel Scene)

from Wheel Scene on 27 Jun 2024

I recently took a trip up to Ballingry Skatepark near the border of Perth and Kinross and was met there by Elliot Provan and Chris Goldie for some midweek cardio. Dougal also came along for the banter and to see if he could find any dogs to play with – he did. We had the whole place to ourselves because the schools hadn’t broken up for the summer yet and we took full advantage of the situation. Tricks were landed, falls were taken and laughs were had. I did have the hopes of being able to film this type of video at most of Scotland’s outdoor skateparks, but there are just so many of them and new ones keep popping up all the time, so I don’t see me ever getting even close to documenting half of them – it’s fun to try though. If you would like to support this channel and see a bunch of videos that are not on YouTube, join the Wheel Scene Patreon.https://www.patreon.com/wheelscene

Haddington Skatepark – a beginner skater’s paradise (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneHaddington Skatepark – a beginner skater’s paradise
from Wheel Scene on 23 Jun 2024

Haddington Skatepark is the latest destination on my tour of Scottish skateparks and, despite being on the small side, it’s got a lot to offer and it’s a brilliant place for beginner skaters to build their skills. There are ledges of various heights to practise on, a couple of rails, banks, kicker ramps and a small bowl section. The New Local – Moodiesburn Skatepark (Wheel Scene)

Wheel SceneThe New Local – Moodiesburn Skatepark
from Wheel Scene on 14 Jun 2024

Scotland’s newest outdoor skatepark, Moodiesburn Skatepark, opened about a month ago and it’s only a 15-minute drive from my house, so I had to go and check it out. Despite the fact the concrete has barely set, it’s already got some interesting graffiti, such as ACAB and an artistic depiction of a boaby – the classics. It’s not that big, but it’s extremely well built, has a range of obstacles and you can do some nice lines there. In fact, if you have the stamina, you can just keep going round and round doing trick after trick!Watch the video to see how I got on and leave a comment if you’d like to see more videos documenting Scotland’s never-ending list of outdoor concrete skateparks.Watch more videos like this on Patreon – https://www.patreon.com/wheelscene
