Ankeny, Iowa Shred Fail

Sometimes things just don’t end up working out as expected. So far in this series of skatepark edits I have had excellent luck in having everything work out for the most part. Today was not one of those days unfortunatey, but was not a complete waste. The weather became a factor as well as an injury sustained to my left shoulder and a stripped ufs receptor in my left skate. I will return to Ankeny skatepark to complete an edit in the future but until then I present the Ankeny Shred Fail. Music is Go Outside Menahan Street Band Remix by the Cults. Enjoy.

Spencer, IA Skatepark June 10th, 2013

This skatepark was constructed in the town I went to high school in, and was finished around 2 years after I picked up the aggressive style of blades. I learned quite a bit about grinding and transitions from this park and have filmed many an edit here in the past. Unfortunately nothing I have ever been proud of so that needed to be changed now that I am 28, plus the fishing a half hour away from here in Okoboji is top notch as I managed to catch a couple large mouth bass(20″ and 16″). I keep progressing at my age and I will continue to do so by producing these small edits to keep me motivated and keep trying to do new and fun stuff with inline skates strapped to my feet. Warm June day in downtown Des Moines. Located next to the Des Moines River is a small ledge to ledge spot that I enjoy. I spent my morning watching Richie Eisler edits and felt the need to blade so I did some tricks here and put it all to Daft Punk Aerodynamic. Enjoy.
