wheelscenebladingStephane Alfano – Rollerblading’s Biggest Troublemaker?
from wheelsceneblading on 8 Feb 2022

Rollerblading has an entertaining history of pro skaters who like to stir things up, from Josh Petty to Aaron Feinberg and Champion Baumstimler, but France’s Stephane Alfano has definitely made a strong bid for rollerblading’s biggest troublemaker over his impressive and sometimes controversial career.

Stephane has won more events than he can remember and taken podium position at some of the biggest rollerblading events of all times, which will also be celebrated in this video. However, there have been multiple ugly moments throughout his career when things haven’t gone his way and it has resulted in the Frenchman being banned from several international events. This video takes a look at two events in particular that have made Stephane infamous throughout the blading community.

Platform Episode 51 – Chase Rushing

Chase Rushing has had sections in three of Brandon Negrete’s most famous videos – Forever Now, The Meantime and Road To Nowhere. He was also a regular visitor to California and stayed with the likes of Carl Sturgess, Brandon Campbell and Aaron Feinberg. He basically lived every teenager skater’s dream.

Fast forward to 2022 and he has been involved with the launch of Mesmer, providing the artwork that appears on the soul plate, wheels, insole and booklet for the John Bolino pro skate.

Chase talked about growing up skating in and around Dallas, the period where Chris Farmer came to stay and they became friends, his experiences of filming and hanging out with Brandon Negrete and much more.
