Livi Skateparty 2015

Every year rollerbladers from all over The UK converge on Livingston Skatepark for the annual Skateparty. The event never disappoints with great music, positive vibe and of course some top level blading skills on show. The weather held out this year too, with the sun shining for the majority of the day! Huge shout out to James Wilson for organising it, and everyone else that made the effort to be there (and let me film them!). Same again next year? Let’s hope so!

Spring Is Here

This is my first play with RAW video on my Canon 50D thanks to Magic Lantern.

Just a test to see how much dynamic range I could squeeze from some of the shots, and apart from the abundant moire and aliasing when shooting in 1x mode im quite pleased 🙂 Shot on a Canon 50D over a few days at the start of May by myself and Aarron Mcmurray, running magic lantern, with a Nikon 50mm f1.4 and Sigma 8mm lenses and a Manfrotto monopod. Blading by Lewis Bowden, Zak Buys, Aarron McMurray and Ben Jones.

Song is The Wolves – Ben Howard, no other audio as didn’t have my audio recorder with me im afraid…
