On July 19th a beachside parking lot at the Love Long Beach Festival was turned into a street course for a Blading Cup qualifier event. Many watched. Some bladed. In the end Damon Franklin was 3rd, Kruise Sapstein 2nd, and Garret Mitschelen took 1st, earning himself a Golden Ticket to the Sem-Finals at Blading Cup on November 1.
