I didn’t have much to say today. It’s honestly sad as fuck being in the city. A place built for human interaction that is completely empty minus construction crews wishfully building massive new towers.
No roaring from the crowds in our stadiums, no visitors with their badges walking from their hotels to the convention centers, boarded up businesses that may not return, trash collection that seems to have stopped, student courtyard areas at GSU/Tech that are usually full of youthful ambition are completely desolate and classic skate spots are being capped or torn down.
I’m not sure how to feel as I watch our city get punished by 2020 but I’m trying to process these changes while remaining hopeful. Love y’all. Stay safe out there. I fucking love Atlanta.
