This is Video 3 in the series “Yoga for Skaters” and this follow along format allows you to try some of the exercises which helped Asha to live and work with a serious hip injury (2015) despite once again being told to have serious surgery and “perhaps not be able to skate again”.Strengthening the muscles around the hips, particularly all the glutes will help any skater feel more supported, balanced and in control, plus the hips and glutes are very related to lower back comfort so these exercises can also be helpful for lower back issues (the topic of the final 4th video, out this week).Follow along with these 4 exercises and feel what’s happening while you keep breathing deeply and consciously.
