The obvious deterrent would be if he got hurt at the competition. Not only did he win but luckily, he came out unharmed. After a week of rest he came to Austin and we began filming that night. Julien is mostly known as a park skater and he knows that. His main goal was to show everybody he could skate street just as well as park. The section we made was filmed over the course of 5.5 days. I wanted to show a more raw side of Julien and try to get him to show more emotion (this was hard) haha. This is a small insight of the filming process. A lot of people helped make this happen and we appreciate all of you.
