Before I came to Uganda for my Xmas holiday with my family, I got together with some skaters in Brighton for a festive, light filled tour around our fabulous city.This time of year isn’t always easy or filled with joy for everyone. Many people are not with their loved ones and many people’s circumstances are far from ideal.All of us at Skatefresh hope that through our love of skating we can access the simple pleasure that rolling on wheels gives us – despite the perhaps imperfect background of our lives.As skaters we are fortunate to have this potential of getting ourselves “in the zone”, fully in the present moment, fully in our physical bodies and focussed on our movement, breath and flow.We can gift ourselves this simplicity and I encourage you to embrace & and accept this gift as often as it serves you.Our mission at Skatefresh is to help you skate better so you can actually Feel More Alive.I do think the better you skate the better it feels.Tell us in the comments below if you’ve observed this… feeling more positive emotions as your skills and ability improves?
