JADRollerVlogRoces RL1 Ripping Fix JadRollerVlog Rollerblading

Lately I have been rocking the Roces RL1 liner in my THEM 909 blades. I love this liner and I truly appreciate the Research and development that went into making it. Sadly a fellow roller balder who also rides the Roces RL1 in his THEM 909s reached out to me and asked me if my tongue was ripping about half way up. He had only had his liners for 2 months like me and his tongue was tearing bad. Sure enough, one week later, my liner started to tear on the same seam. I tried glue and hand stitching with some heavier thread. Didn’t work. Then I tried Tear Aid Type A https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K6WKNE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Tear aid is a quick and strong fix for tears in flexy heavy duty material. It seamed to bond really well to the liners materials. However, it didn’t look very pretty despite being clear. So then I used this stuff over the tear aid – Azobur Nylon Repair Patches 3X60 inch Nylon Self Adhesive Waterproof First Aid Repair https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088BDP2BX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It bonded really well to the tear aid and looked a lot better then the tear aid by itself. I would have only used the Azobur tape accept it didn’t want to bond to the material on the liner. But it did like the tear aid and the 2 seamed to make a great team. I’ll keep everyone posted to see how it holds up over time. Hopeful you don’t have this issue with your Roces RL1 Liner. But if you do, I hope this video finds its way to you and helps fix the rip. If you find something better and easier to use please let me know.DM me on Instagram if you have any questions @JadRollerVlogI know I am no where near close to being a pro sponsored rollerblader and that’s not my goal anyway. But in this video I have some thoughts on some good improvements to make this liner more durable on the second version. Hint hint if you listening Roces. RL2???
