ScottishRollingScott Riddles and Julien Cudot pro Model from Triggerskate. ( review in description) 2016

2016 saw a new release in rollerblading, something completely new right across the board, new cuffs, frames, soul plates, padding, design . The trigger skate!

i seen these at the British championships in january and fell in love with them , after a few conversations i went ahead and ordered a set…..

first impressions: exactly as i remembered just in my size.

so as anyone who orders new skates you transform into a kid again, opening the box with excitement, taken the skates out the poly bags, take the alan keys out, padding from inside the skate, loosen them of and stick them straight on your feet.

soon as i stuck them on felt tight but good solid and different. something i had kinda been looking for, so called around a few people and went to local skatepark transgression for a break in session.

after about 20-30 mins i soon reliesed that the skates had been design very very tightly and caused me alot of pain, which was really frustation, after an hour i couldn’t take the pain anymore they had to come off my feet, so got home and stripped them down and started a heat molding process, something which ive been told cant happen unless said product is carbon fibre..

after heat molding them, they loosened of enough for me to skate them for a good 4-5hours, but still are just that bit too snug and are causing me problems, on that note however i truely respect trigger for what they have done/ achieved, the skates are light weight, durable, supportive.
the frames are really good solid slide really well, as do the soul plates.
and they look amazing in my eyes not everyone is into the fat old school chunky steeze.

i will skate triggers again, maybe try and stretch these once more.

here is an edit of a few skates in them thanks for taking time to view this

kind regards scott riddles
