Last minute trip down south ended up been a pleasant surprise. With no certain destination in mind we (myself and Laura Henry) head down to the south coast. First stop, Durdle Door, on the Jurassic coast, spending the day by the water, swimming and walking along the coastal path. Camping that night at Lulworth Cave, Stair Hole which was a 10 minute drive away. This was one of our favourite places.Waking up at Stair Hole, we went snorkelling straight away, then headed for breakfast and got the blow up boats.We came straight back to this amazing spot and was on the boats most of the day! It was quite amusing being out at sea in these little things.. being dragged around by the small waves.Next stop, Bellemere forest, again, one of our favourite places. We were expecting a bear to jump out at us. This night we couldn’t find a place to leave the car, so we didn’t! We slept in it. A tight squeeze! But amusing. We got greeted by some horses, who in the end didn’t want our company, just our food.Morning swims in the lake, then we headed straight to Totnes as it started raining. After Totness we drove to Nanjizal beach. We were hoping to swim here but the weather had different plans. Still so beautiful.Probably one of our favourite spots….After a slow morning we decided to drive to St Ives for the day and be tourists. Had to get some fish and chips obviously to tease the seagulls. After spending all day here, we drove up to Newquay and camped at Bedruthan steps. HOT SHOWER! Last but not least, we headed to the peak district for our last night.
