„I wanted to make this video in order to answer the many questions that I now receive regarding Triskates. Everyone has noticed that I’ve switched to Triskates so it’s natural for people to ask my advice.
One of the most common questions was “Can I learn to skate on Triskates?”. My official answer was “Why not?” because I know that learning solid technique is essential in the early stages. If you skate well, you can skate on anything. But I wanted to test this theory, and this video was the test! We decided to bring together two groups of learners, those on Triskates and those on traditional 4x80s inline skates. I found a group of skaters interested in being involved and we planned two classes with me as a group and then a couple of weeks of practice time in between these two classes for them to skate alone and improve. I love the video diaries from the skaters and they give us a real connection to the emotions involved in learning to skate (excitement, fear etc). Watch the video to see which group did better…“
